The Stawell Gift is short again!
Traditionally advertised as a 120 metere event, the distance has been shortened by the handicapper.
in his opinion, the best runner in the event is Bola Lawal of Nigeria and he has been handicapped on .5 meteres, therefore the distance will be 119.5 metres.
Surely if the Gift is 120m, someone must run the full distance and logic would mean that would be Lawal in 2010
